## Ready when they can

- Read own sentences aloud with clear voice and appropriate expression
- Share a piece of writing by reading it to the class
- Type simple words or sentences using a computer or tablet

## Lesson: Sharing your writing with others

You worked hard on your writing. Now it is time to share it. You can read it aloud. You can also type it on a computer.

**Example.** Maya wrote a story about her dog. She read it loud and clear to her class. Everyone listened and clapped. Then she typed her story on a tablet. Her family could read it too.

**Tip.** When you read aloud, speak loud and slow. Look up so your friends can hear every word.
