## Ready when they can

- Describe themselves in simple terms (e.g., 'I'm good at climbing, I love drawing dinosaurs, I find sitting still hard')
- Name something they are proud of being able to do and something they are still learning
- Point to a way they have grown (e.g., 'I couldn't zip my coat when I was little, now I can')

## Lesson: Who I Am: Strengths and Growing

You are you. No one else is exactly like you. You have a name, a family, and things you like.

You are good at some things. Other things are still tricky for you. Both are true at once.

*(drawing: You grow every day. Things that were hard get easier.)*

**Example.** Mia says: 'I'm good at climbing. I love drawing dinosaurs. Sitting still is hard for me. I couldn't tie my shoes before, now I can.'

**Tip.** Being still learning something is normal. It just means you are not done growing yet.

**Recap.** You have strengths, things you're learning, and ways you've grown.
