# Body Parts & Senses

Identify, name, and locate basic parts of the human body and associate each body part with its sense

## Ready when they can

- Label eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and skin on a body outline
- Match each sense organ to its sense: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch
- Describe a simple scenario for each sense (e.g. 'I use my nose to smell cookies baking')

## Lesson: Body Parts and the Five Senses

Your body has parts that sense the world. Each part has one job.

Eyes see. Ears hear. A nose smells. A tongue tastes. Skin feels touch.

**Example.** Zara smells cookies baking. She says, 'I use my nose to smell.'

**Example.** Sam touches ice. It feels cold on his skin. Skin is for touch.

**Tip.** Touch each part on your face. Say its job out loud.
