## Lesson: Dressing for the Weather

Weather changes every day. What you wear should change too. Check the sky before you go outside.

**Example.** It is raining outside. Mia puts on her raincoat and grabs her umbrella. Now she stays dry on her walk to school.

On a hot sunny day, wear light clothes. A sun hat and sunscreen protect your skin from the sun.

*(drawing: For cold days, wear layers in order: a shirt, then a sweater, then a coat. Layers trap warm air better than one thick coat.)*

**Recap.** Check the weather, then pick the clothes that match it.
