# Rain & Puddles

## Lesson: Rain and puddles

Rain falls from clouds in the sky. Clouds are full of tiny water drops. When the drops get heavy, rain falls down.

After rain, you might see a puddle. On a sunny day, the puddle gets smaller. Soon it is gone. The water did not vanish. It went up into the air.

**Example.** Mia sees a big puddle after rain. The next day, the puddle is gone. The sun warmed the water. It rose into the air, just like the cloud picture.

**Tip.** Puddles are not gone forever. Their water waits in the sky. One day, it falls again as rain.
