## Lesson: Wild, Farm, and Pet Animals

Animals can be sorted into three groups. There are wild animals, farm animals, and pets.

Wild animals, like foxes and deer, live in nature, not with people. They find their own food every day. They build their own homes, like nests or dens. Watch wild animals from far away. Never touch them or feed them.

*(drawing: Farm animals like cows, sheep, and hens live with farmers, who feed and shelter them. Cows give milk, hens lay eggs, and sheep grow wool.)*

**Example.** Mia has a pet cat named Whiskers. She feeds him and gives him a warm bed. People take care of their pets every day.

**Tip.** If you see a wild animal, stay back and watch. Never try to touch or feed it.

**Recap.** Sort animals into wild, farm, or pet groups. Always watch wild animals from far away.
