  1. True · Rectangles have two pairs of parallel sides, exactly like parallelograms. That means every rectangle fits the definition of a parallelogram too.
  2. 11 · Multiply first: 4 × 2 = 8. Then add: 3 + 8 = 11.
  3. 12.5% · To change a decimal to a percentage, multiply by 100: 0.125 × 100 = 12.5%.
  4. 4 · Multiply first: 2 × 3 = 6. Then subtract: 10 - 6 = 4.
  5. 3n + 15 · The 3 multiplies both parts inside the brackets: 3 × n = 3n and 3 × 5 = 15, so the answer is 3n + 15.
  6. 90° · Every rectangle is a parallelogram, and in a parallelogram opposite angles are always equal. So the opposite angle is also 90°.
  7. The 1/8 share · 1/8 equals 12.5%, which is more than 12%. So the 1/8 share is the bigger amount.
  8. 11 · Multiply before you add: 3 × 2 = 6, then 5 + 6 = 11. Leo added first, which gave the wrong answer.
