Use capital letters for proper nouns (names of people, places) the days of the week, and the personal pronoun 'I'

The lesson
Some words always need a capital letter. Use a capital for a person's name, like Sam. Use a capital for a place, like Paris. Use a capital for every day, like Monday. The word 'I' is always a capital too.
Zara writes a diary. She writes: 'I saw Mia on Friday.' I, Mia, and Friday are all capitals.
Ask: is it a name, a day, or 'I'? If yes, use a capital letter.
