Rhyming words are words that sound the same at the end. Cat and hat rhyme. Cat and dog do not.
Ben reads a poem. He hears cat and mat in the poem. Cat and mat rhyme, so the poem sounds fun.
In a song or a poem, the rhyme is at the end of each line. Listen to the last word: 'Here is my bug. He sits on a rug.' Bug and rug end the same way, so the two lines rhyme.
Listen for words that sound the same at the end. Try to guess the next rhyming word before it comes.
Rhyming words end with the same sound, like cat and hat.
