The lesson

You can name parts of your body in French. tête is head, épaules is shoulders, genoux is knees, and pieds is feet.

On your face, yeux is eyes, oreilles is ears, bouche is mouth, and nez is nose.

There is a fun French song called Tête, épaules, genoux, orteils. It means head, shoulders, knees, toes. You touch each part as you sing.

Good to know

yeux sounds like YUH. genoux sounds like zhuh-NOO.

Try it together

Touch your tête, then your épaules, then your genoux, then your pieds.

tête is head, pieds is feet, yeux is eyes, and nez is nose.

Learn first

Nothing; this is a starting point.

This opens up

Nothing builds on it yet.

Then practise

8 questions wait behind this lesson, each with its answer explained. Every answer feeds the sky: stars light as they are learned, and dim when it is time to come back.
