Mia felt the floor shake at school. She dropped down fast and crawled under her desk. She held onto the desk legs tight. She stayed far away from the window.
Move away from windows during shaking. Glass can break and hurt you. Move away from tall shelves too. Things can fall off and hit you.
After the shaking stops, tell a trusted adult. A trusted adult could be a parent or teacher. They can make sure you are safe.
