The lesson
You already know dinosaurs were real animals. Today you will meet four famous ones. Each dinosaur looks very different from the others.
Look at Tyrannosaurus rex, or T. rex. It has huge teeth and a giant head. But its arms are tiny, almost too small to reach its mouth.
Triceratops has three horns on its face. One horn sits above its nose, two sit above its eyes. A bony frill covers its neck like a shield.
Stegosaurus has bony plates along its back. It also has spikes on its tail. Brachiosaurus has a very long neck. That long neck reaches leaves high in trees.
To name a dinosaur, look for one big clue. Tiny arms mean T. rex. Three horns mean Triceratops. Plates mean Stegosaurus. A long neck means Brachiosaurus.
