The lesson
Rain falls from clouds in the sky. Clouds are full of tiny water drops. When the drops get heavy, rain falls down.
After rain, you might see a puddle. On a sunny day, the puddle gets smaller. Soon it is gone. The water did not vanish. It went up into the air.
Mia sees a big puddle after rain. The next day, the puddle is gone. The sun warmed the water. It rose into the air, just like the cloud picture.
Puddles are not gone forever. Their water waits in the sky. One day, it falls again as rain.
Rain falls down, then water goes back up to the sky again.
