The lesson
Storms bring thunder and lightning. Thunder is loud. Lightning is a bright flash. Storms can feel scary, but you can stay safe.
Zoe is playing outside. She hears a loud boom of thunder. Zoe stops and runs inside right away. She stays inside until the storm ends.
Stay away from trees and water in a storm. Lightning can strike tall trees. It can travel through water too.
When thunder rumbles, go inside and stay away from trees and water.
