Compose opinion pieces using drawing, dictating, or writing that name a topic or book and state a preference or opinion about it

The lesson
An opinion is what you think about something. It tells how you feel, not just facts. You can share your opinion about a book or a game.
Mia picks her favorite book to write about. She says, My favorite book is Dog Man. It makes me laugh a lot. She named the book, gave her opinion, and told why.
Always use the word because to explain why. Say what you are talking about first. Then tell your opinion and your reason.
Name it, say what you think, then tell why with because.
