Polite words help everyone feel good. When you want something, say s'il vous plaît. It means please.
When someone helps you, say merci. It means thank you. They can answer de rien, which means you are welcome.
If you bump someone or need to pass, say pardon or excusez-moi. Both mean excuse me. To answer a question, you say oui for yes and non for no.
s'il vous plaît sounds like seel voo PLEH. excusez-moi sounds like ex-kew-zay MWAH.
Ask for a snack at home and remember to say s'il vous plaît. When you get it, say merci.
Say s'il vous plaît for please, merci for thank you, and de rien for you are welcome.
