Now let us count higher. onze is eleven, douze is twelve, treize is thirteen, quatorze is fourteen, and quinze is fifteen.

seize is sixteen. After that the words use dix, which means ten. dix-sept is seventeen, dix-huit is eighteen, dix-neuf is nineteen, and vingt is twenty.

Good to know

vingt sounds like VAN. dix-sept sounds like dee-SET.
