What a learner can do afterwards
- Can explain Counting one to ten
The lesson
Let us count in French from one to ten. un is one, deux is two, trois is three, quatre is four, and cinq is five.
six is six, sept is seven, huit is eight, neuf is nine, and dix is ten.
Good to know
deux sounds like DUH, trois sounds like TRWAH, and neuf sounds like NUHF.
Try it together
Count your ten fingers out loud: un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix.
In French we count un, deux, trois all the way up to dix, which is ten.

Learn first
Nothing; this is a starting point.
Then practise
8 questions wait behind this lesson, each with its answer explained. Every answer feeds the sky: stars light as they are learned, and dim when it is time to come back.
