Long ago, people told exciting stories about heroes. Two famous ones are Robin Hood and King Arthur. These are legends, not proven history.
Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest, hiding from the sheriff. He took gold from rich people. He gave it to poor people. His friends were called the Merry Men.
King Arthur was a legendary king in Camelot. He pulled a magic sword called Excalibur from a stone. His knights sat together at the Round Table.
No one has proven Robin Hood or King Arthur were real people. Their stories still teach us about fairness and bravery.
