The lesson
Capacity is how much a container can hold. You can measure it by filling small cups. Pour cup after cup and count them. The number of cups tells you the capacity.

Good to know
For bigger amounts, we use litres. Always write a number with its unit, like '3 litres'. A number alone does not tell the whole story.
