What a learner can do afterwards

  • Can explain Hello and goodbye

The lesson

In Persian we say salâm (سلام) when we meet someone. It means hello.

When we leave, we say khodâhâfez (خداحافظ). It means goodbye.

Good to know

You can wave your hand and say salâm to a friend.

Try it together

Say salâm to someone at home. When you go, say khodâhâfez.

We say salâm for hello and khodâhâfez for goodbye.
