The lesson

Now we can put words together to make small sentences.

To say who you are, use man ... hastam (من ... هستم). It means I am ... . So man Sârâ hastam means I am Sara.

To point at something, use in ... ast (این ... است). It means this is ... . So in sag ast means this is a dog.

We can add a number too. in do sag ast means these are two dogs.

Good to know

Put your own name in man ... hastam to introduce yourself.

We say man ... hastam for I am, and in ... ast for this is.
