The lesson
A good seller tells the truth about what they are selling, is polite and helpful, and keeps every promise they make. When customers trust you, they come back and bring their friends too.
Maya sells cookies at her stand. A customer asks if the cookies have nuts. Maya tells the truth, even though it means fewer people buy that day. She says thank you to every customer, whether they buy something or not.
If something you sold breaks or isn't right, don't ignore it. Say sorry and fix it, maybe with a new one or their money back. That is how you keep people's trust.
Jake sold a toy car and knew a wheel was loose, but he didn't say anything. The buyer found out and told her friends not to buy from Jake. Now fewer people visit his stand.
Be honest, be kind, and fix your mistakes. That is what keeps customers coming back.
