The lesson
Every plant needs three things to grow strong and stay healthy: water, light, and weather that isn't too hot or too cold. If a plant misses even one of these, it starts to struggle.
Zara tried this herself. She put one bean plant on a sunny windowsill and watered it every day. She put a second plant, the same size, in a dark cupboard and never watered it. Two weeks later, the windowsill plant stood tall with green leaves. The cupboard plant was pale, wilted, and small.
Check on your plant often. Dry, curled leaves mean it's thirsty. Pale, droopy leaves mean it wants more light. Brown, mushy leaves after a freeze mean it got too cold.
